It's deficiency results in convulsions of all kinds, such as convulsions of the heart, stomach, urinary bladder, calves and so fourth, and it causes shooting pain as well as changing and wandering pains. Furthermore, it is administered in cases of gastrointestinal colics, and colics of the gall bladder and kidneys.
