Healthy bowel movement and function is supported by a balanced healthy diet that includes both insoluble and soluble fibre. Agiofibe contains a unique combination of insoluble and soluble fibres that provides the balance of natural fibres found in a healthy balanced diet. This means that Agiofibe will help to keep your bowel regular, avoiding symptoms such as bloating and flatulence.

Indications:

  • Support regular bowel movement and function
  • Promotes regular transit and healthy bowel movements
  • Aids comfortable passage of stools
  • Helps soften and increase stool, speeding passage

Directions:

Adults and children 10 years and over: 2 teaspoons each evening, followed by a glass of water. If required, an additional dose can be taken in the morning. Agiofibe granules are coated, making them convenient and easy to swallow. Agiofibe must not be chewed, but can be swallowed whole or mixed with any semi-liquid food, such as yoghurt. Drink plenty of water. Contains sucrose.

Active ingredients:

Psyllium (Plantago ovata and Ispaghula). Each 5g (approx. 1 teaspoon) contains Psyllium in the form of: Plantago ovata seeds, dry 3.25 g and Ispaghula husk 0.11g

Can Agiofibe be given to children?

Agiofibe can be given to children 10 years and over. Please consult your healthcare professional for children under 10 years.

Is Agiofibe likely to interact with any medications?

There are no known interactions between Agiofibe and other medications; but it is recommended to be taken away from other medications so as to reduce the risk of inhibiting absorption. It is recommended to take other medications at least 1 hour before or after taking Agiofibe. If you have questions about using Agiofibe, it is recommended that you talk to your healthcare professional.

Agiofibe does not contain added gluten and does not contain lactose. Agiofibe contains a small amount of sucrose: 0.9g sucrose per 5g dose. Always read the label. Use only as directed. If symptoms persist, consult your healthcare professional.
