What makes the Prospan range different?

Prospan chesty cough lozenges are a portable on-the-go member of the Prospan range. Prospan is the World’s No. 1 selling ivy leaf product* for soothing chesty coughs. The Prospan range is made from Ivy leaf, but not just any old Ivy leaf. In fact, the products contain a specific extract from the ivy plant (Hedera helix) – an extract known as EA 575. Prospan with EA 575 has been rigorously tested in clinical trials and scientific research to provide chesty cough relief.

Natural medicines can vary considerably depending on the species of plant chosen, the way the plant is grown and harvested, and the extraction and production processes used. So it’s essential that you get the same medicine that’s demonstrated efficacy in clinical trials.

That’s why a patented extraction process is used to make Prospan. It’s the result of 65 years of research and innovation, and it helps ensure that every batch of Prospan has the same reliable EA 575 formula that’s been shown to relieve chesty coughs.
